Fashion: Stand out from the crowd!

A cousin of mine has started wearing curlers to social events as a result of seeing her number one idol donning them on a website recently. I don’t take issue with curly hair styles at all and there is nothing wrong with taking inspiration from the aesthetics of celebrities. Copying the outfits of celebs you see in Now Magazine is SO lazy though!

The realm of fashion is often about making a statement and wearing exactly the same garments as your peers doesn’t make any statement other than “I am a sheep!”! If you want to prevent being called a fashion victim then is is incredibly vital that you face the fear and begin to experiment with different colours, textures and materials. Accessories can be very useful when experimenting with style. This is because you can take them off easily should you decide they’re not really “you” later on in your day.

It really irks me when I see a group of girls together on a night out and they are look like Cheryl Cole replicas! Trying to look just like the nation’s supposed sweetheart will make you look a little desperate however and like a wannabe too. Being truly original with your style can be hard but taking small steps (maybe by trying out a number of colours that you would usually avoid) should see you eventually become more fashion frivolous.

You can know how to curl hair and keep a hold on individuality! Individuality is awesome so, don’t merely copy what everyone else is wearing! Experimentation makes life far more exciting and a confident smile makes for the best accessory on anyone!!
